The INFORM Africa steering committee is the central governance body of the research hub that comprises of key representatives of the NIH and the South African and Nigerian governments, including the hub’s PIs, with significant stakes in the project’s aims and expected outcomes. The Steering Committee provides support, guidance and oversight on the project’s progress. Its primary responsibilities involve deciding the hubs scope and directions, budgets and timelines, devising governance procedures, as well as prioritizing key deliverables within the hub’s strategic aims.
