Fati Murtala-Ibrahim is the Director Strategic Information atthe Institute of Human Virology Nigeria (IHVN). She provides strategic leadership and guidance to the department. She provides technical oversight to the 3 subunits of Monitoring and Evaluation, Surveillance and Implementation Science and Health Informatics within the department. She has extensive experience in developing and building monitoring and evaluation systems for public health programs, capacity building and health system strengthening. She provides technical leadership in the implementation of the public health grants being implemented by IHVN in the areas of HIV and TB.
Fati Murtala-Ibrahim trained as a Pharmacist at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the same institution. She also earned a Postgraduate certificate in Public Health from the University of Manchester and a Master’s in Public Health at Walden University, USA.
She has over 20 years’ experience in implementing public health programs and community pharmacy. Her professional affiliations are with the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. She supports the Data Management and Analysis Core (DMAC) of INFORM Africa.
